Ofosuhemaa Bentil
Ofosuhemaa Bentil is an Environmental Science graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Climate Reality Leader, and an Earthshot Prize Climate Youth Fellow. She currently serves as an Environmental Analyst at Genser Energy, where she ensures IFC Performance Standards and EPA permit conditions are met by translating them into training, operational practices, and measurable results in emissions and waste management. She has contributed to impactful projects, including an agroecological model farm charter that secured funding from Gower Street, consistently bridging technical requirements with real-world application.
Beyond her corporate role, Ofosuhemaa leads the Green Ambassadors Program—a climate literacy initiative empowering girls aged 14–19 to design and lead community climate solutions—under the Accra Youth Climate Action Fund, supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies. She actively volunteers with the Ghana Youth Environment Movement and the Environmental Leadership Forum, contributing to climate training, advocacy, and campaigns. Her expertise spans environmental compliance, climate education, stakeholder engagement, and urban greening initiatives, including the development of a Microgreen Roadmap for the Accra Metropolitan Assembly to promote climate resilience and sustainable urban spaces.
