GYEP was launched in August 2020 to train and empower the next generation of young environmentalists and activists in Ghana The 12-month long programme accepted young people between the ages of 15-35 years from each of the 16 regions of Ghana.
The programme is in 4 phases:
· Virtual training sessions by resource persons
· Design and implementation of initiatives and projects by participants
· Offline environmental summit and networking event (on hold due to COVID-19)
· On-going mentorship in environmental leadership and several other areas of environment work for successful applicants.
