GYEM appoints Benedicta Obenewah as Coordinator, Northern Sector of Ghana

We are pleased to announce that the organisation has appointed Miss Benedicta Obenewah as our Coordinator for the Northern Sector of Ghana, effective 24/06/2020. Benedicta is an amazing environmentalist, who has been with the Movement for about 4 years, initially as a volunteer and later as part of our Steering Group from 2017 till date.

With the development of our 5 years strategic plan which is aimed at making our organisation more relevant post COVID-19, and reaching and building several independent leaders and young activists nationwide to campaign and work for change, we welcome her rich experience, knowledge and expertise.

About Benedicta

An environmental activist with a passion to advocate for care and justice for nature and the environment. She has a degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Management with experience in studying the impacts of human activities on the environment, and identifying ways to eradicate, manage and minimize them. She has interests in promoting environmentally friendly businesses as well as issues pertaining to sustainable economy. She seeks to specialize in environmental standards and policy advocacy.
