(3of6): Climate impacts are now experienced worldwide; intense floods and droughts, sea level rise, extreme weather events, wildfires, crop failure, water stress, etc. These are destroying livelihoods and driving rapid nature loss and extinction of species.

(4of6): To avoid the worst impacts of climate change, the @IPCC_CH has advised that we have to keep temperature rise to 1.5 °C. To achieve this target, we need to half greenhouse emissions by 2030 and reach ‘net zero’ by 2050.

(5of6): Net zero simply means that we should not add to the current amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This calls for putting pressure on our governments and political leaders to take urgent action. WE DON’T HAVE TIME!

To avoid the worst impacts of climate change, The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has advised that we have to keep the temperature rise to 1.5 °C. To achieve this target, we have to halve (½) greenhouse emissions by 2030 and reach ‘net zero’ by 2050.
